For number 3 on Calculation Molarity by Dilution, you need to use the formula M1V1=M2V2 First you indentify the information that you already have and what you need to figure out. V1-15mL M1-35.9M V2-? M2-.085M
So we plug in the numbers (15mL)(35.9M)= (.085M)V 538.5 = .085V 538.5/.085 = .085V/.085
I am confussed about i need help
ReplyDeletewhat are you confused about
ReplyDeleteLJ, which part dont you understand?
ReplyDeletefor # 3 on the back how do u find the volume
ReplyDeleteFor number 3 on Calculation Molarity by Dilution, you need to use the formula M1V1=M2V2
ReplyDeleteFirst you indentify the information that you already have and what you need to figure out.
V1-15mL
M1-35.9M
V2-?
M2-.085M
So we plug in the numbers
(15mL)(35.9M)= (.085M)V
538.5 = .085V
538.5/.085 = .085V/.085
V=6335.29
At least thats how i did it =]
thats 6335.29mL
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if we have to put it in litersm if we do then its 6.33529L
