LJ, for 56 i wrote catalist increases the rate of the reaction by providing a way so that the particles can collide more ofter. To do that, catalyst gives a way to collision with lower activation energ. With lower activation energy the more particles are more likely to collide yielding to a product.
For instance the key in the lock grossman did, if it required less energy to put the key in the lock, then it would be easier for him to put it in.
hmm for 44 i think you can put any of the factors mr grossman mentioned in class
i used concentration if the concentration is not high enough then the particles have a lower probability to collide with one another. thhats what could keep the reactants from reacting.
for number 11 , i have no idea what the answer is, i just guessed something. i know its endothermic
i dont understand 11, 44 &56 i need help!!!!

11. I think almost sure
ReplyDeletethe reaction needs energy from the atmosphere around so it takes the heat from the hand holding the test tube
it feels cold because of ammonia
ReplyDeletethe reaction will give you ammonia and HCl
